EXTRIMIR 175 is a multifunctional extrusion lubricant with high molecular weight. It was mainly used in heavy load metalworking fluid to improve its processability and machining efficiency. EXTRIMIR 175 has excellent oxidative stability and biological compatibility because of the branched fatty acids it has. Furthermore, no only to replace chloric extreme pressure (EP) additive, it can also replace or decrease the adding amount of sulfurated, phosphorous EP additives, lard, blown oil and the other aliphatic friction modifying addition. EXTRIMIR 175 is completely evaporated after combustion. It provides special lubrication to products when used in water-soluble oil, semi-synthetic fluid. EXTRIMIR 175 is not recommended to add in pure oil, wire drawing oil and stamping oil because of its unsaturated fatty acids. It is ash-free and contains no sulfer, phosphorus and chlorine.

Application

l When used in metal forming oil, EXTRIMIR 175 can provide nice lubrication and can modify friction, increasing production and improving surface finish of metal.

l EXTRIMIR 175 can serve as an excellent lubricant to emulsion fluid (such as emulsified oil, semi-synthetic fluid, fully-synthetic fluid).

l EXTRIMIR 175 can replace chloric, inactive sulfurated EP additives, lard and the other friction modifiers.

l Compared with traditional aliphatic additives, EXTRIMIR 175 has better antimicrobial properties because of its branched structure, which provides better bacteria resistance than other aliphatic additives. It has light color, mild smell and better stability.

l According to the actual application, recommended dosage is 1-8%.
