Before planning to design, manufacture, and sell any product or process, make sure the product and process does not infringe any valid patents. This is done firstly by a patent search in interesting areas to find out any potential patents.

The search is followed by claim construction and comparison. Sometimes, a patent application shall also be analyzed because the grant of which may prevent you from manufacturing and selling the product/process.
